Meet Kristina

owner & designer

Equipped with years of experience in residential construction, Kristina founded Breakwater Interiors in 2019 with the primary goal to design thoughtful spaces focused on livability and constructability. Breakwater Interiors partners with skilled local contractors, tradespeople, artisans and vendors to take a systematic approach to the creative design process. Kristina is driven to complete projects to the client’s highest satisfaction and does so by tailoring designs to meet their needs, proactively approaching deadlines and by being respectful of her clients’ lifestyles and budgets.

Kristina has always had an affinity to the calming nature of water. She works to bring that feeling of serenity and refuge to all of her designs and it was that feeling that inspired the design firm’s name.    Whether traditional, transitional, modern or contemporary, Kristina’s use of natural elements, layered texture and mixed materials are evident in all of her designs.
